Mr. Mendez comes from a family of tobacco producers, starting with his grandfather, Epifanio Polanco . The company works with twenty different manufacturers, producing sticks for private labels.
The company is also responsible for producing brands such as the Spanish Galleon & Antonius. Tabacalera La Caya is dedicated to the development of international stogies. It also has interests in snuff tobacco in Indonesia, Nicaragua and Honduras.
The famous magazine known as Cigar Aficionado rated these sticks with very high ratings, making it one that smokers everywhere would like to try for themselves. The cost is another factor when considering these for purchase.
